i just traded for a springfield mil spec with a ncg supergas conversion. it is my first 1911 i wanted to know if anyone here has any personal experience with one?  seems like they are great if they work right.  i have gotten mixed reviews.  if its not so hot can someone convert it back or is it just done.  i know Johns design is great but thats not what i am asking.  i dont have it yet but the person i got it off of said it preformed flawless for the 300 rounds he shot it and he has great feedback so hopefully this turns me over away from the polymer side. lol
