Today I discoverd that the factory front sight on my Colt  is coming loose.  I'll be taking it to a smith on Thursday to see what they can do with it, and was wondering if anyone can suggest a good aftermarket sight.  I've tried to preserve the lines of the gun as much as possible, and I would like to continue that.  Any suggestions?

Thanks

Anything that requires a dovetail. It will not shoot loose. This is a simple long term fix.

Dovetail is really the only way to go for the larger "hi-vis" sights. If you have the original military type, they will most likely just re-stake it.

Which sight you choose is a factor of what kind of shooting you'll be doing.  Talk to the Smith...I'm sure he can steer you right.
