I saw this 1911 frame w/ the Picatinny rail in it. I think it's a STI but not 100% on that.
 Where can i get a 80% like that? I wan't to build a 1911 and i like the integrated rail. Thanks! |

Isn't that a Springfield Operator that comes from the factory with the rail?

Thats a customized Springfield Operator.
So how was it in the cave?  Just an update, Springfield, Wilson Combat, Kimber, and Caspian are offering rail frame 1911s and SIG will be shortly. |

Cave? I was in the AR cave for a while till my M4gery was built. Never had any interest in a 1911. I've got a HK USP 9 full size for 6 years now and love it. Just started to like the 1911's so it's time for me to build one. Ran across the picture (above) on eBay and thought it was cool w/ the picatinny rail. Never had seen one before.
