Okay... This may be a loaded question... but I have seen the .45 gap coming out in the XD series...

My question is this... will it be able to take drop in barrels for smaller calibers like the .40 does?

.45 GAP...promises to be another overpriced ammuniton like SIG .357 and 5.7mm FN.

Sometimes I think manufacturers come up with new calibers just so they can overcharge the ammo buying public in collusion with the ammo manufacturers. Kind of like the drug companies that charge ridiculous prices for new drugs in the name of R&D costs...yet make more annual profit than the oil companies and Bill Gates combined. Right...so all that extra money is for...charity, right?

I'm poor, I'l stick with 9mm,.40 and .45 ACP. When walmart stocks the winchester 100 round economy packs for $12.95 in .45 GAP also, I might reconsider....
