Ok, being that we're almost at the end of 2003, what was your favorite gun and/or accessory purchased in 2003?

Although I haven't done the paperwork yet, I bought an AAC Phantom which will probably prove to be my favorite accessory bought in 2003.  As for guns, I think its a milled receiver Bulgarian RPK which I got back in the spring.

Congrats to you, HardShell.

My favorite accessory, hands down, is my Aimpoint.  I simply love it.

If I had to pick a favorite firearm purchase this year I think that would be a Kimber Custom II, my first 1911.

Hardshell,

Hardshell and Lurch,

Those are the most gratifying pics of truly strong Fathers with small babies I have seen in a long time. Such tenderness, and caring, the pics show...

Y'all should be poster guys for a "Good Fathers" series.

Thanks for posting, and many congrats on the new family members.

I am always most grateful for health and safety of my family and myself.  After that, everything else pales in comparison.  And it has been an excellent year in that respect.

But, this thread is about toys and it has also been a most excellent year toys wise.  My 3 favorite toys of the year are:

Jeep.  Now I can go to the shoots regardless of where we meet.

And my M16 Commando with Eotech

And the M16 with 9mm suppressed upper (different lower - yes Virginia, there is a Santa Claus)

The favorite that I bought this year would have to be the RR SP1. However since I won't see that until 2004, maybe my SEBR...
Nope - won't see it `till `04 either! That pretty much leaves my STG58. Or maybe the Colt M4 upper and all the crap that clamps to it..

Gun: My Grandfathers CMP M1 Carbine, which he paid all of $20.00 for in the 1960's. The best part is he's still alive and heathy to see me enjoy shooting it.

Accessory: ARC LSH-P with 2AA TSP.  Surefire A2 is a distant second though.
