I found out that I could get super awesome discounts for verizon wireless through my company, so I decided to upgrade my phone. I got a moto e815 with 1 year contract for only $70 (normally like $250!). However, when I received the phone, the receipt said it was a 2 year contract! It took a lot of calling and politely bitching but I finally got it straightened out. The problem was that I ordered the phone through a verizon extranet website, which the phone support guys don't have access to. So they couldn't confirm the price or deal that I ordered in order to change the contract. However after getting a higher-level tech and a supervisor on the line, they just told me to fax them a picture of the webpage and now everything is set.

I really like verizon, it may take a few calls, but eventually you will get things worked out. This is the second time I've had a major issue and they fixed it to my satisfaction both times.
