Part of my "when I'm a billionaire plan" is to have a stainless trough style urinal.
And a bartender who always keeps it full of ice.

The greatest urinals on earth are the ones at "P.J.Clarke's". It's a 3rd avenue Irish bar.
They are legendary...

Let It Flow - Men Want Urinals In Their Homes

CHICO, Calif. (Wireless Flash) -- Urinals aren't just for men's restrooms anymore: More and more guys are opting to install them in their homes.

That's according to the folks at the online home improvement retailer Improvementdirect.com, who regularly sell the stand-up toilets to male do-it-yourselfers.

Divisional assistant Amy Davison has fielded some of the calls from guys installing home urinals and estimates 70 percent of them want one in a special color to match their bathroom decor.

For instance, one man who was building a sports bar in his home wanted to outfit the room with a black and silver urinal to match the sporty color scheme.

Not many men explain why they want a home urinal, but Davison figures for them, "it's a treat. "

But she does add that some guys have mentioned they want the urinals, "so my wife can't go there

No, but I want one in the garage I'm planning REAL bad.

I'd like a real man bathroom, with a urinal, a shitter, a shower, full tile, with a drain in the floor, so I could just powerwash the whole thing in one shot.

Actually, when you think about it, a urinal would completely eliminate the "you left the seat up, she got her ass wet because she sat without looking" argument w/ girlfriend or wife.

Reason enough for gettig one.

My wife rolled her eyes when I told her I'm going to install one in the garage. She didn't have an issue with it (not that it matters, when we're talking about a garage), but she does seem to think it's "silly".

The way I see it, a urinal installed in the house is a win for women. The toilet seat will stay down, since our need for lifting it in the first place has been removed. Piss stains on the rim? Gone. Teaching your boy to pee standing up? Much easier and less troublesome now. It's also much easier to keep a urinal clean, since there are less hard to reach places.

Women will need to be sold from an emotional angle, somehow. This isn't really a jab at women either. I can rationalize a urinal all I want, but in reality I just think having one is cool. No reason...just because.

Womenz don't like the idea, because it is NOT for them LOL.

Damn, that's a great idea. My garage/workshop is in the basement, and I hate having to go upstairs to piss. Just a urinal and a sink would be a great idea.

Hell I could just do the sink.

Can you install a giant spinning thing in the ceiling like they have in dishwashers? That would rock.

The fireman on my block built a workshop in his back yard that has one. The whole bathroom is tiled so you can just take a hose to it.

He's kind of the handy guy, makes his own real nice copper tiki torches, a giant bar with polished cement top and a fish pond.

for those who want to play a gag on your wife, install one of these "joke" urinals

Every bathroom should have them. That way, you could look at the wife and say in your best DI voice, you have some urinals to clean. Another reason women don't like them is cleaning them makes their toothbrushes taste funny.

My uncle has a large shop behind his house with a floor trench and drain (for washing equipment indoors). He uses that. A urinal is sort of overkill when all you really need is a drain. I would sort of like one of those hoses that pilots use, keep it under the couch then I wouldn't have to get up while I am watching TV.

All you need is a big funnel with a hose for the drain.

We had/have one in the house I grew up in. I have two older brothers and when our parents built the house the figured it only made sense to have a urinal in our bathroom downstairs.

We have a bidet, too.

Home Depot carries them.

We used to have one at hunting camp. It was a two liter plastic soda bottle, with the bottom cut off at angle, turned upside down, attached to an inside wall. A hose was connected to the neck, with a hose clamp. The hose was run outside, and down the hill. The perfect thing to use during the night, when it was below freezing.
