No, no, no. Microwave radiation can be blocked for the most part and re-directed safely to the ground plane if your aluminum shield is grounded.

REMEMBER TO ALWAYS GROUND YOUR ALUMINUM SHIELDING!

Well, I don't know about you guys, but I always just use regular tinfoil...and if I'm feeling extra paranoid I use Reynolds Heavy Duty foil. I've never thought about corrugated panels!!!!!!
That ought to really cut down on the chafing.
