Get the Purple for small fasteners if they have it.

Duh! Steal it from work.

Any auto parts store should have it.

Yep but lets be quite about it though. work is the best place to get stuff.

WalMart won't sell loctite (or similar products) to anyone under 18. I like WalMart but their policy about that (and paintballs, etc) is stupid. I guess they're worried about kids paying what, $5 or so for a tiny bit of loctite to huff or something while they could get half a gallon of gas for a fifth the price. I don't even know of any kids that do that, the stupid kids just smoke pot.

I really have nothing to contribute to your original question - just a fragmented, run-on semi-rant.

On the off chance that you don't know, there are different colors for different applications.

I mean, you don't know where to get it and all.

Of course, you'll never be able to get the cap off.  That stuff works!

My home depot only had "generic" loctite.  It was called pro seal, proloc blue.

I hope it works as good as the original.
