BTW, cop buddy of mine was up at the Sig academy last week. He saw 3 new CNC machines in a converted indoor range and they were doing 40,000 round torture tests on the 556's, or so thier instructor said.

NO! It's correct! It's the new Sig designed for shooting strictly in the inverted prone position.

good news. it looks like this thing is going to be a reality.
i still can't imagine how they could post a pic like that on their own damn site, though. course, i've seen stuff just as bad from other manufacturers. |
