when the dems take over?

back in the 90's, when they had the power, the government and the liberal press did everything it could to stigmatize the us gun owner as some crazed militia nut, and it worked.

the clinton/reno team used every "tool" available to crack down on "militias" all over the us, and used the stereotype to further gun control. after all, why do you NEED an AR15? you aren't some kind of "militia member", are you...?

i got thinking about this the other day as i saw the second csi-type show in one week where they were trying to find child molesters. it just so happens that they managed to track these people (in both shows) through their membership to a local gun club...

so, with the dems in control, and the media already ramping up the propaganda machine, what will we be made out to be this time around?

Part of me says they won't bother us this time around since they kind of learned it is a hot topic. Even some people who vote for them.

The logical part of me keeps telling me when was last time you could actually trust a politician to do what is right. I'll just keep making my EPL payments to the NRA and wait it out.

I think they will stigmatize us as using the same guns as the 'Terrorists' and equate us as such
