i have 2 tapco m16 a2 barrels i am building up for post ban use. what brakes can i use (silver soldered in place) to screw into place of where the flash hider was?

Thats a big question.
I prefer the three port comp that gunsmoke sells. My second choice would be the wilson combat brake.  But, there are many to choose.
Do a search on the websites the industry forum guys have.

i like the cav comp from calvary arms looks like a a2 and works really well on my friends rifle. when i get enough saved up to buy a upper im going to get one installed on it

I have a Wilson Combat that's my favorite and I have a KKF A3 that's the most pre ban looking.

Keep in mind that the muzzle device must meet TWO requirements. It must NOT noticibly reduce muzzle flash in BATF testing, and it must NOT have an outside diameter of 22MM. I would suggest more than 22MM, rather than less...
