Think before you speak.  Don't get this thread locked.
I am curious . You guys remember in the urban areas the crowds in the streets when Obama won.
Have these people lost interest in Obama or will they be out in full force in the next election again flooding the streets?  I honestly believe if Obama lost that first election many of these gatherings would have turned into riots.
WHEN he loses in 2012 will there be violence or have the Urban communities realized he was full of shit from the get go and wont care?
ETA.  You know the media and people like jackson and sharpton are going to be going full retard making this a race issue if it looks like obama is loosing.

ETA:  This is not a "which republican can beat him thread there are plenty of those.  This is about whether we will see rioting in the streets if he loses.

I knew a few people that had buyer's remorse after a while, but I don't hold too much faith in them.

I think though that there are still going to be some delusional people who are parroting him, saying that he's bringing forth economic recovery and bringing forth change and saying he's better than that evil dude Bush, or better than McCain, or (insert name of whomever is going to run against Obama).

If he loses, I am certain that it'll be blamed on racism, and Sharpton, Jackson, et al are going to have collective head explosions.

If he wins there will be those that celebrate and those that cry. If he looses there will be the same. Either way I'm gonna drink my sorrows away since no body that runs really knows what the F^*# is going on in the country or with those individuals that make less than 6 digits per year and aren't in politics. They've all been in the political game so long they only care about voting their next pay raise and when their special license plates will arrive in the mail. I'd like to fire every one of them and start fresh with people that have no political back ground, haven't make more than 70k/year, and give a S*^# about their neighborhood/state. Just my .02

If its Romney or Newt then we get Obama for four more years.  Romney is a greasy RINO that has already signed laws for government health care and a gun ban, and Newt has a likability rating just below herpes.

The same idiots that fell for Obama's line of bullshit are too stupid to realize that they were played. They'll fall for it again.

If Obama should happen to lose, it will naturally be due to Republicans being racists, the elections were rigged, etc. Liberal failure is never their own fault.

Pretty much this.

I predict much wailing and gnashing of teeth, claims of backdoor election asshattery, many appeals for re-counts, etc.

Honestly I think having Obama has been kind of an awakening for a lot of people in our country. We're more polarized than I've ever seen it (granted, I am pretty damned young), but people who never cared before are now talking––kids my age, and they're not swinging left.

In MA,there will be nothing but a bunch of pouting - just like when Brown won. Our liberals are the touchy-feely,non-violent types who aren't very much at all like the good union men and women of the midwest. There will be lots of threats about moving to Canada, how abortion is going to be banned and Christianity inflicted upon children at school and the poor will all die...to be honest,it's the same wailing and moaning that happens with every election.

Those of y'all that live where there are plenty of Teamsters,SEIU,UAW have a much more decent chance of running into a real asshole...I'll just have to carry around tissues.

Really though,we don't have much Obamatime: after his summer vacation he's going to go into 100% fundraising campaign mode and the most do-nothing POTUS will do even less. It's just up to the GOP to not run a total fucking idiot.

Lots of people would disagree with you in that on the local level, much happened when he won. At a local Wally World here, Obama supporters beat on an old lady's car outside the store and pranced around shouting "Obama! Obama!! This went on for 20 minutes inside the store. The old lady's crime? She waited at the crosswalk until it was clear. 3 female Obama supporters deliberately walked in front of her car after she proceeded. They called her a bitch, pounded on her hood and said, "Obama da President now!!" Go figure.

Unless something dramatic happens I'm putting my money on him "winning" a second term.    Between his pandering to unions and other such groups I have a feeling he'll come out with something about how in his second term he could accomplish the things they really want because he laid the groundwork during his first term and he doesn't have to worry about re-election anymore.  Palin getting a nomination would pretty much cinch it for him.

Palin getting a nomination would be a landslide in favor of Obama. I'm tired of voting for the most solid piece of shit in the toilet.

Truthfully? Obama will get re-elected, and will probably have another do-nothing term...another term of furthering the embarassment of our nation, pussification and stupification of our youth. I'm seeing now that even if he went ape shit and started imposing all kinds of bullshit regulations, there won't be any kind of revolution or retribution...there'd be alot of pissing and moaning, but anyone who'd try anything would be detained and crucified on the media.

At this point in time, the only way we're going to get the 'reset' that we want, its going to take TEOTWAWKI.

what does the japanese not rioting have to do with what we saw in the street in the 2008 election and whether it will be there in 2012 and if the racists like sharpton and jackson will get it riled up enough to turn violent.   This isn't about race. This is about the racists on the left who will entice the urban blacks into violence by claiming the white man is keeping them down rather than the TRUTH of the matter which is Obama is a shitty president.
This isn't about the race of the inner city blacks.  It is the culture of racism they have been taught by the left and their parents.  You wont see any bullshit  from rural people of any colorif Obama loses.  Im just questioning whether  those crowds will appear again and if they will turn violent when Obama loses.

Don't make this about skin color. It is the exact opposite. It is the urban culture.  The left is already violent in their speech unlike the Tea Party gatherings and we have seen urban culture riot before over stupid shit.   Obama loosing seems like a very real chance for some shit to go down if the controllers of the left decide to make it about skin or some bullshit.

That thread is about how blacks are dangerous and violent because according to posters' neo-Nazi theories they are genetically inferior to the other, superior races.

Some of you people, if indeed you aren't engaging as old-as-the-hills symbolic/crypto racism, need to be medicated for rampaging, debilitating anxiety disorder if you really sit around chattering your teeth and wringing your hands over these "scenarios"

If Obama loses, it will be because the corrupt and fat Republican racist crackers are doing what they do best:  keeping the black man down.  The cities will burn.

Adding to the fun will be the far left Communists "Social Democrats" acting up, a la Wisconsin.  The election will feature multiple credible accounts of voter fraud and/or intimidation.  Many lawsuits contesting local results will be filed.

Ah, I'm too optimistic.
