Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - what good is Firefox's "print to file" function?

Select File -> Print... then [] Print to file then the OK button

It'll ask you for a file name, enter one

It'll create a file.

I can't read that file with Adobe or Microsoft Word.  Is there anything that can read it or is the file only good to be sent to a printer later on?
