I don't share files. I sneak up on them behind closed doors and draw my gun.

I don't steal from others. But any Visa card works good for getting music. For $2.95 a month my MX gold account with musicmatch provides me with excellent quality sound and if I want to listen through the stereo instead of computer I just plug my laptop into the amp and through the wonders of wireless networking it all comes together. Excellent sound quality and price and the option to create custom stations based on genre or band.

I use kazaa lite. Bunch of my computer geek buddies advised it was the best to go w/. I still buy CD's though. I still like to support my favorites by actually purchasing their music.

BitTorrent, because it's so damn simple, and I download at max speed every time.

last time I used one, it was kazaa lite and it was a while ago. Main purpose to use it? Check out new music. I have bought more CD's due to kazaa/napster than w/o. It has also saved me money because I can find out if something is crap or not BEFORE I buy.. funny how the music industry has worked it so that once you buy their stuff and find out it's crap (opening it) you're stuck with it, no returns.

Try www.WinMx.com. It is spyware free and easy to use. Sgtar15

Ditto on the WinMX. I posted this similar question here a couple of days ago. Paul told me about it. I downloaded it and am now getting my free music without any spyware or pop-up ads. Kazaa does have spyware and pop-ups. Trust me, you don't want that. I used iMesh for several years, but they polluted my computer with shit.

I don't do that sort of thing because it's wrong. However, if I did I'd use WinMx and Kazaa lite.[;)]

I would never file share because it is a bad thing. However, if someone held a gun to my head and made me download free music and porn every day I'm not at work, I'd probably use "Limewire".

I use Limewire.... cause it works with Mac. I downloaded about 25 songs last night. All songs that I have on cassetes somewhere. I paid for 'em once already.
