when you drill a blind hole and pin a FH,   do you have to weld up the hole?  and when you silver solder the FH,   do they require a certain level of tensile strength?
any help would be helpful     thanks

I hear so many different stores on how to attach a FH on a SBR to make it legal,  Just want to make sure I don't end up sitting next to Big Al in the fed pen

if you rifle is a registered SBR, you don't need to worry about it.

If you just want a 14.5" bbl, then you have to have either a phantom or Vortex perm. attached to the bbl to make it 16" legal.
