Probably an easy question for those in the know, but not for me.  If I had an import license and I imported,in to the US,  unfinished receivers of some type for a foriegn parts kit and I finished those receivers myself in my type 07 licensed facility would those parts count as US parts or foreign parts?  T

Thanks,

Kentlik

Not a lawyer...I'm thinking that if the receivers are unfinished, they're not really receivers...e.g., 80 per cent Tannery lowers.  By finishing the castings, you turn them into receivers, therefore they're U.S. parts.  Am I wrong??

I think they call it, and I may be wrong but, "value added."  I have been searching around and think that that is how it is termed.  Thanks for the reply, I was starting to worry no one would respond and I would have the dreaded "0", goose egg, no one likes me, topic.
