Is this supposed to be an allegorical reference to President Trump?

Kind of wondering why this came in out of the blue...

The one standout thing of the U.S. Grant Administration was the enormously successful Secret Service.  President Grant expressed the greatest confidence in the new Department of the Treasury, and their agents.
Two of the more exceptional men of the early Secret Service are shown below in an early colour photograph.

Jackson and the movement that led to him being in office is a sort of watershed event in American history, representing the rise of Leftist sentiments born out of the French Revolution to the highest levels of American politics, the beginning of our transition to a democracy and of the Democratic Party into a predominantly radical party, and more.  Plus he was a shitbag in office.  There's a reason why Alexis de Tocqueville loathed him.

Grant himself was considered to be a pretty honest man.

But Washington, DC, in the post-Civil War era was oozing with corruption.  The federal subsidies for the Transcontinental Railroad were probably the biggest slush fund in the history of America.

He very likely had some type of ADHD, but Sherman was a brilliant tactician and a clever strategist.  He knew the quickest way to end the war would be to destroy the South's ability to wage war, which would mean destroying their factories, farms, railroads, and source of cheap labor.

His plan worked so well the Army Air Corps adopted it in World War II.

Also, he's one of my relatives.

There is war and war crimes. I think even Sherman, in that hot place he resides, knows which he practiced.
