ok, let's see if i have this strait? when the awb expires there will be no more "assault weapons".  since the law itself defines what an assault weapon is, then when the law is gone so is the definition of an "assault weapon".   therefore, one year from now we can all claim that there is no ownership of any "assault weapons" in the USA and that no recorded crime has been commited since the ban expired.  right?
