i always thought 1911's were double action so you just had to pull the trigger harder to fire it?

ok so when you put a magazine into the gun and pull the slide back to chamber a round that also puts the hammer back?

Correctomundo! It was made in 1917. Original magazine too, the magazine has a lanyard thingy on it, as well as the pistol. |
