There is a Prequel coming but not with Kate.

MTV talked to Underworld and Underworld: Evolution star Kate Beckinsale, who says she's not starring in the third installment:

Beckinsale also revealed she will not star in the next "Underworld" movie, which husband Len Wiseman is developing.

"I think it's a prequel before I'm actually in it, so I think that won't include me if it happens," she said.

I remember reading an interview with Kate Bekensale that the next Underworld is a prequel to both of them. She's not in it.

I'd like to see another Underworld. I wish it had Kate, but if they have another hot woman in it, I'll be happy.

I saw a few parts of the second one, it looked so stupid. Like a little kid show with better effects and swear words with blood. Gargoyels screeching "I'll get you, you feind!" it's so corny.

I liked both movies and would definately see a third one. Anything with vampires fighting werewolves has "Oscar" written all over it! Yes, it sux that Kate won't be in it, but I've really enjoyed the overall look of the first two movies, so if they can keep that; I'm game for another.

just watched the sequel last night.

not bad, not bad.

Markus was one BMF...in fact, he soundly kicked the "hybrid's" ass. Kate Beckinsdale, in all her very tight patent leather glory, had to handle him.

btw, anybody else hoping for a bit more boobage during the sex scene?
