Link Posted: 6/18/2014 9:27:21 AM EDT

Link Posted: 6/18/2014 9:28:03 AM EDT

Link Posted: 6/18/2014 9:28:39 AM EDT

Link Posted: 6/18/2014 9:32:00 AM EDT
I don't think you could even get 3 24" monitors in there. Also, it's about $7800.
Link Posted: 6/18/2014 9:32:00 AM EDT
Does not appear to have Daystroms M-5 tie-in circuitry. Ultimate, my ass!
Link Posted: 6/18/2014 9:32:12 AM EDT

Link Posted: 6/18/2014 9:32:51 AM EDT

My current workspace includes a 27in iMac with three 3GB Lacie Thunderbolt drives, a MacBook Pro with 27in Thunderbolt display, two Dell laptops

Needs recline feature - so I can simulate various positions.
Link Posted: 6/18/2014 9:33:57 AM EDT
I love the translations it shoots back to me

"Need ... time to get used to one person even a small day to humans and is released from the stress of day-to-day immersed hobby, movie, the game away a little from reality , and also meditation and becoming one, forgotten in the day-to-day I remember that was. To provide such a time and space a minimum "I room" ... it "is this Kakureya". Time spent in this space from tomorrow and gives vitality to face the reality, the margin of the heart to become friendly to the people around."
Link Posted: 6/18/2014 9:34:16 AM EDT
Needs more plate armor and refrigerator
Link Posted: 6/18/2014 9:35:10 AM EDT
Where is the wet-wipes dispenser, and WTF is a drower?

Link Posted: 6/18/2014 9:35:30 AM EDT

Link Posted: 6/18/2014 9:35:49 AM EDT

The whole thing is 47" wide. I think you'd pretty much have to be Asian to fit.

Link Posted: 6/18/2014 9:50:48 AM EDT
I'm not feelin' it.
Link Posted: 6/18/2014 9:53:39 AM EDT
But hey you can store your "Virgin" Bourbon in it :-)

It looks kinda cool if you could set it up as a flight/mech/driving simulator, but I don't see a lot of ventilation so it would get rather warm being in a closed box with electronics.

The manufacturer obviously knows their potential client base:

On a serious note, I seem to recall something similar being installed in airports, the idea being that a business traveler can pay for a bit of privacy between flights to get some work done while on the ground. I think the one in that case was motorized and had a card swiper for payment.

Those are pretty rough looking.

I'll never forgive the local D&B for taking those out and putting in a stupid laser shooting range with gutted 10/22s.

Interesting idea for a ham radio shack.

Can not read - but to be ultimate - it would need it's own climate control. I could actually see something like that being used as a computer room in an un-airconditioned building. Other than that, well we all know what it is to keep mom from seeing.
