Its not the ultra-cool one but I still like my Dr-200, first rifle I ever bought.

WHERE CAN I GET THAT RAIL SET-UP??????????????

I have a Daewoo DR200 and I am sorely lacking a bunch of high-speed, low-drag goodies to hang from it.  I must accessorize!

I have one of the pre-ban cool ones.  I bought it about three months ago, it is a total safe queen.  I have never shot it.

Is the third pic a 9mm?  Never knew they made one in a subgun.

Just wondering what mag fits in that magwell?

I think he has a NVG monocular but is using his eyes to sight and shoot. The angle just looks funny.

Being as how the camera is somewhere in front of his muzzle, I doubt he's actually shooting anything. Just a photo op.

Damn, I wish they would set up shop in the US.  They look awesome with the SIR setup.

Daewoo's are great rifles, the best of an AR combined with a piston gas system.

Uses AR mags, and has some of the same control parts.

I sold both of mine when it became impossible to get spare parts for them

Dang! We need to take a playbook from the "Girls of the IDF" thread and have a "Girls of the ROK Army" thread.

You know the sad part is that there would be an instant market for parts and guns.  Especially if they made a drop in upper for regular AR lowers.  They would sell a lot more stuff then they ever did the first time around.

That looks just like my Max 2. Great rifles and fun to shoot.

I'd sure like to see some AR's adopt some of those features.
Specifically, I'd like to see it lose the buffer tube, and adopt a true (left) side folding stock.

Kinda like this.

This is a upper I modified for a friend using a DSA FAL rail.

I sold mine because of the very same reason. I once shot a sub MOA group of 5 rounds with carefully handloaded ammo - V-Max bullets. That was the most accurate unmodified battle rifle I ever owned until the PTR-91, which has shown me several sub MOA groups - WITH MILSURP!

I really think the DR-200 has to be one of the best EBRs ever made. Too bad they don't have a plant here.

God knows you can't say the same thing about their cars.

DR200 was my first black rifle too.  Sold it as I decided to just stick with ARs as I feel easy access to spare parts is needed.

Chuck1 and heathen, those are some bad-ass rifles. How different is teh lower from a regular AR lower? I believe that they would be approximately the same to be NATO magazine standard compatible.

I haven't torn my lower apart, but I've heard they use AR trigger parts.
The thing I love is they take standard AR mags, the mag release is even in the same area.  The upper locks to the reciever from the top though, not a lower pin like an AR.  That could make a conversioni very difficult.

I NEED a rail job like that though...
BRD strikes yet again

Looks like it would be comparable to an AR in terms of manufacturing complexity. It would be awsome if Springfield Armory or someone would make an us copy of it.
