So if you were on the cream, sounds like you have gotten tested. If not, get thee to a doctor. Shots are maybe more inconvenient than the cream logistically, but much better from my understanding.

You need to see your doc.  If your numbers are still ok, testosterone booster may not help.

I took a product called andro 6 (I think it's off the market now) about 16 years ago when I was 23.  Worked great, I put on a lot of muscle, got really strong.  But there were some not so good side effects- sex drive thru the roof and I would sweat anytime the temp went above mid60s.  I still have problems with sweating during moderate temps.

The morale is test booster can mess you up, especially when you go off it, as your body will produce lower levels if you're taking too much.  Don't try to self medicate, listen to your doctor.

Once you're on testosterone due to low or no testosterone, you're on it for life. Except the fact that 2x a week you've got a date with a needle.

And do your homework for yourself and then find a good doctor who knows their shit. Doctors are retards with a fancy piece of paper.

Full disclosure: just got tested and my T was low.  Had my first injection last week, but haven't noticed a change yet.

My advice to OP is for him not to try and use some commercial T booster outside of treatment by a doctor.  If you can even get legit stuff anymore (I don't really track that hype of thing) my previous experience when I was young and dumb led to serious side effects.  But if I'm being honest, if I could get andro 6 again, I'd be pretty tempted to use it.

This is pretty much true. Unless you go to a specialist they most likely won't have a clue about how to treat it correctly or any idea how the medicine actually works.

The first Dr. I went to told me that the cream boosted my natural T.  Which is absolutely wrong.

Taking an outside source of testosterone increases natural testosterone production huh? That "specialist" should have their license to practice medicine revoked and be thrown in prison. They can share the same cell as mine who told me testosterone won't effect fertility.

Yes I did. I did a clomid and hcg restart protocol to regain my fertility so we could have another kid. The clomid fucked with my head something bad almost to the point of me wanting to put a bullet in my brain. I'm being dead serious on how bad it was for me. I'll never touch that shit again and I threw the rest of my clomid out.

I don't know what the t-levels were. The only benefit I saw from it was my balls hung down to my knees and when I blew my load, it was like holding on to a fire hose. Beyond that, I was hiding under the covers wanting to die.
Everyone reacts different to it so you might be fine.

That's the exact reaction I had to clomid as well.

I'm currently on T and HCG in order to keep my fertility up.  I've had my swimmers checked and it's lower than what they consider normal, but I'm still in the range of what is considered fertile.

I'm done with kids and while I have several vials of hcg, the go unused. I like shooting blanks and smaller balls make the dick look bigger.

Well that's no good.

I will see how my T levels are in a few weeks. And if they suck, I am changing  to the shots.

Some boosters are mostly zinc, D3, B6, B12, and fish snake oil. All of which did nearly nothing for my T numbers. I don't suggest them *for boosting T numbers. For general health, absolutely. Especially D3 and fish oil. Eats all of teh fish oil!

If you need T, get labs and get on.

There was that study that was posted in GD a few weeks back that found beryllium was found to increase T levels by almost 30% or something.

But who cares?  If you have the T levels of a 95 year old man, you can naturally get back to a 75 year old man?  Yay.

Buy testosterone cypionate.  Inject it. Feel like a man.  Squat lots.

There it is. If your T is 550, 30% is a ton. If you are have a good T level, I'd use boosters and supplements. At 715, I woundn't screw with injections. Testing originally at 285, adding the 30%, and then being 370 is meh at best.

Boosters are shit. The only "booster" is TNE. (Test no ester)

Interesting.

I hadn't read this, but a little research shows this might be actually not snake oil and also cheap as all hell. Moderate T boost for basically the next 10 years from a 8 dollar box of 20 Mule Team? Could that be right?

I don't think that 20 mule team borax is human grade.

Here was one thing I found on boron. I'd like to see the study. Everything I've seen says no link to raising T.

https://www.organicfacts.net/health-benefits/minerals/boron.html

Fruits like apples, oranges, red grapes, pears, plums, kiwis, sultanas, dates, as well as certain vegetables, avocado, soybeans and nuts are rich sources of boron. Chickpeas, borlotti beans, hazel nuts, currants, peanut butter, red kidney beans, tomato, lentils, olive, onion, potato wine, and beer are also notable sources of Boron. There are so many sources that there is no reason to ever suffer from a deficiency.

Meh, borax isn't gonna hurt you, the worst that will happen (trying to get  3-5mg of boron) is you will get some upset stomach.

The study itself was interesting, they were actually testing for vitamin d absorption, and noticed the T increase:

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/21129941

In another study on bodybuilders, however showed no effect, but indicated lifting weights increased T levels, which we all already knew:

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/8508192
