So if we base house districts on census data and they countillegal immigrants in the census.  Thhat means that states that have heavy illegal populations are getting more representation than other states and districts with heavy illegal populations are getting more representation.

Has anyone ever attempted to take this to court?  This is clear cut theft of our representation.  Sure AZ might lose a rep if we fized this but it would be worth it because we would have more conservative districts by far.  california ad texas would probably lose some reps but same deal.  The poor areas where the illegals live would lose some represetation and it would be handed back to those of us who actually pay the bills in this country.

Either stop counting illegals or stop basing representation on census numbers.  representation is only for citizens of this country.

Representation without taxation...   Those who don't pay into the system are getting disproportionate representation....  that's enough to damage the union.

What about people who get taxed but can't vote? If their status prevents them from voting, why should they pay taxes?

Nothing prevents them from going back to Canada or wherever they came from.

that's a whole other thread there.  this is about districts and states getting more representation due to millions of illegals being counted.

So what happened to  "No taxation without representation" then?

I bet people like DK-Prof have a different view of the subject at hand.

No taxation without representation was about the colonies as political entities not getting representation in the House of Commons (the few Lords in America were members of the House of Lords, but they obviously couldn't participate from America) and thus Parliament while being subject to taxation which was often damaging to colonial interests (the power was abused towards the colonies in order to favor the metropolitan UK).  It was thought unjust that say, Virginia should be subject to national taxes in which it had no say and it was thought that the colonies should have a status representation-wise like that of Scotland or England but proportional to their population size.

Millions of Americans have that now.  If you work in one state and live in another and are taxed on your wages from the sate you work, but not live in.  Then you have zero representation.  Its a crime and I hate it.  I work in Boston and live in New Hampshire.

The Govt/Big business Cabal is happy that you remember the catch phrase from your govt school approved history lessons.

They dont want you to know that all of the colonies in the early 1750's wanted a war with France.
When the Govt back home didnt get a war going Virginia took matters into their own hands.

During 10 years of war mostly based in New England, business made great money supplying the Brit Army and also engaging in Black market trade with Canada.  People had lots of money, New England silversmiths were making money hand over fist........

Then all of a sudden France just gave up, took their ball and went home.

A now almost bankrupt England pulls the majority of their troops out, shuts down bases and has the remaining troops seek living quarters out in town.  Units have formations in front of coffee houses and use village greens for manuver training

To try and recoop some money a tax on sugar, tea and reading material is levied.  The out of work businessmen and blackmarketeers and silversmiths convince the illitterate non tea drinking, maple sugar eating farmers that they are being oppressed.........

now we have regulation w/o representation, your state has no say in what any federal regulatory agency does.

you take from the society on one form or another, you pay taxes, sales taxes, property taxes, and income tax/social security etc..
and you receive all the protections and or conveniences of any citizen, but for the Vote and though you may not think so, you are
represented, even as a non voter.

If you don't like the representation in that district you live or do business in, MOVE to one friendlier to your point of view.
it is FREE AMERICA, and no one is making you live where you are, less it is mandated by your "green card" (and that can be protested and changed).
So, if you Hate NY or Cali for its Leftist majority? Move to Texas,,,wait, Texas is full, Move to Florida.. hell, want real conservatives, move to Mississippi...

If you really want a say so in how your represented and plan on sticking around for a generation or two?
SAY THE Pledge and become a Citizen. My Mother is from Ontario and she got it, been a citizen for over 60 years..my Father was naturalized as well
and few better Americans have lived in the last 240 years..

For the purpose of allotting districts, why not go off the totals from 1040 forms, including dependents?

that is a small amount of what representation does.  liberal centers where the illegals live are getting more representation than they should.  When legislation gets passed by one vote that fucks us all over that over representation makes a big fucking difference.
