BX has one with three 12rd mags at a decent price

I really have no need for a .40S&W but I figure it might go good with my M9 and 92FS

40s do nothing for me and I'm not a huge beretta fan, but if you're familiar with the platform and want a 40, go for it!

There's probably no good reason to buy it, but the ammo should be somewhat easier to find than 9mm, so there's that.

Plenty of .40 cal ammo out there to be found.

its kinda sad that part of the reason I'm now looking at a .40 is just so I'll have something to shoot

I stocked up on guns and mags in the past few years but never seemed to stock up on enough ammo

Get it. I recently bought a 96A1 and love it. Comes with 3 12rd mags! Captive recoil spring, internal recoil buffer, and removable front sight, FTW. I got it because .40 is much easier to find in my area than 9mm. It's a fine shooting gun. I've got 350 rounds through it without any issues.

I'm not a big fan of DA/SA guns in general, I Much prefer SA w/ a safety or striker fired (Glock, M&P, etc.)

But its a decent gun.  If it floats your boat, then rock on.

In before the usual suspect to berate someone for preferring glock over a beretta.

Beamy, I went a slightly different route for my .40 Berettas.

I have a 96G Vertec and a regular 96G.  I also have a 9mm upper for each gun.  I also snatched an Elite II a little while ago and I have a 9mm upper for it as well now.  The guns all work flawlessly with either caliber.

The 92/96A1 is basically a 90Two without the fugly styling.

They are good to go.

40 ammo is everywhere while 9mm isn't...I don't like Beretta's though.  I always get slide bite from power stroking the gun and always actuate the safety.
