i hope that link works. long story short, someone with a myspace profile invited a group of guys over for a party, then fights / rape / robbery happens... cops use the myspace profiles to catch the suspects.  idiots.

i bet that 80% of crimes would go unsolved if people would keep their mouths shut!

similar thing happened here.  it's illegal to swim in the lake on campus.  well, after our game where we whipped Virginia Tech's ass, a bunch of our students went swimming in the lake.  then they posted pictures all over facebook (like myspace, but restricted to college)

needless to say, the idiots were caught and disciplined

people need to learn to set their profile to "friends only" on both myspace and facebook.
