I thought the ORI had more in common with early christianity personally. But I guess the Ori could be related to Islam too.

With the whole, "The Prior is twisting the words to fit the situation, turning what I thought was sacred into something evil yada yada yada" I'm thinking it's more towards Islam.

I think it's more aimed at fundamentalists in general, they all seem to use the same tactics.

Its Islam.. They both prostrate in religion. Both see the none believer heretics or Infidels. Both want to destroy those who don't change to Ori/Islam. |

I would say it is a combination of fundy religion in general. It is non specific as to Christian or muslim as there have been many of both that have twisted the message to their own purpose.
