Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - source 4 cheep picatinny & weaver rails

Two things:

First, anybody know a source of CHEAP picatinny rails?  Gonna make a rack in my closet to store my accessories when they are are not attached to my rifle.

Second, I'm very confused on the various rail systems out there.  Whats the difference between 1913, picatinny, weaver, dovetail and stanag mounts?  Do accessories for one work on the others?

I emeber an add in SGN a few months back . Some had some for $7 or so . I am sorry I can not be more helpfull.

Cheaper Than Dirt has a Picatinny/Weaver Rail that attaches to the Standard length handguard. It may work for what you need. They are $20 each.
