leaving mags loaded won't really weaken the spring.  I replace springs every few years.

Constant cycle of compression and expansion of springs is what
causes weak spring syndrome.
People have shot old 1911s left fully loaded since WW2
without any FTF.
Its ok to leave your mags loaded for long periods of time.

Usually once I am done shooting my mags are unloaded.  Then I rotate the empmty mag for a full mag and repeat untill all mags are empty or I am out of ammo.  Then I reload the mags for next time.
