I dont think that auction is supposed to be funny.. Kryptonite is a name brand of a lock. I guess that is a special pick for that type of lock..

Yes it's a bic pen. This was on the news recently as they are recalling several models of their cylinder type locks because a pen body can open them.  Personally I could give less than a damn if the liberal hippies around here all have their friggen tree hugging bicycles stolen.

It's a BIC pen case.  On Wired's website,  there's a video of  a guy showing how to do this.
Pretty funny though

That lock is like some of my cryptography attempts, overly complicated and easily defeated
