for my undergrad I have to take a series of crap classes, I am looking at chicano studies, africana studies, women of europe.
Pretty scary huh? |
I took an earth studies course once. It had a few good moments but I had to really seek them out. Fully 90% of the idiots I took the class with wrote about pollution because the hippie chick prof had a big thing about pollution. The suckup lemmings all used the term "Fecal matter" in their papers because of it. I was cracking up... When I presented my paper I said "My paper is about dinosaurs, not feeeeeceeees" (had to emphasize it). I got an A but what a stupid class.
BTW some schmendrick was illegally carrying a Glock in the class... He was a big palooka type that *might* have been in the Law Enforcement classes and I saw it several times. He might have been from one of the local Po-po depts. but he was a total dick... and it's illegal for non LEOs to carry on campus. |

Do you want to have some fun? When they mention LULAC or NAACP just say they are the same as the KKK and let the fun begin. This happened in my minority groups class, there was a damn near riot. |

My school offers AMST 242 (Lesbian/Gay and Bisexual Experience). Don't know if I'll be able to work that one into my schedule or not.

southwest border studies in college liberal shit.............. amounted to absolutely jack shit in the way of ANY useful knowledge
in HS i took landscape design/floral arrangment though. yes, really. never went to class though, that was how the ag teachers got my buddy and me in a position to do all their shit projects like building pipe guards for all the trees on campus. we had no complaints, got to weld and dip snuff in the ag barn all period................ |
Either Petrology or Mineralogy. Probably Mineralogy edges out the other for difficulty.
The two worst classes were "Medical Mycology" and "Pascal Programming".
In my Geography of Africa class back in 1990 the instructor talked about the coming AIDS epidemic in Africa. He was right. |

I don't know about "weird," but my most memorable class was "Psychology of Human Sexuality" at Colorado State University, circa 1994. What a class. We had to write "sex fantasy" stories (which the professor read OUT LOUD to the 400 plus person class -- mine was about a game of naked basketball played with Cindy Crawford and some other models of the era). We watched a freaking video tape of this guy's son being birthed by C-Section, and we had a WEEK-LONG period where the order of the day was watching full-on X-rated sex films. Talk about fun! I remember VERY vividly that in the room full of 400+ students, over half of whom were female, the scent of feminine musk was indeed very HEAVY during those screenings. The women, most of which had never seen a porno before, were wet. I know this because after the first screening the professor actually asked: "OK, how many guys are sitting here with erections or women sitting there with some, er, arousal of their own?" Hands a plenty, let me tell you.
I actually hooked up with a chic who was sitting next to me during one of these porn viewing sessions. She glanced down and saw the raging bulge in my pants and whispered a nice little proposition in my ear. Now that's how to earn college credit! Hot damn that was a good class! |

The anthropology class I took at SUNY Buffalo. when the teacher stuck to the material it was fine, but here's why it made my list
Teacher was a raving liberal, worse than most professors I had. I took the class in the fall of 01, 9/11 happened in like the 2nd-3rd week of class. Rest of the semester we got to hear how America and bush are evil Class email list. Was supposed to be used to organize study groups, remind us of test dates etc. Instead the teacher and 2 TAs sent nothing but propaganda They brought in a speaker from Amnesty International. that group is extremely left wing when it came time for the end of the year survey I made sure to state in the comments section that the class was extremely anti-American |
Naw,... he read like two a day. They could only be a page long so it didn't take much time. The funniest was a VERY explicit and detailed story, written by a woman, about how she went into some guy's office and gave him a very nice blowjob. At the end of the story, the professor sort of blushes as he reads the last line, which was something about how with the taste of cum still in her mouth she turned around and said "see you in class professor Bloom" (i.e., the professor teaching the class). I think the guy had serious chub! |

Interpersonal Commuciation - Since the class was 90% female, the course pretty much digressed into a male bashing session. Why guys don't communicate well, we don't understand their needs, men suck, yada, yada, yada.
There were only three guys in the class, and we had no chance. Every time we brought up our point of view, we pretty much got the "insensitive male" lecture. Never go to a college that has a large amount of future female gym teachers!!! |
I cant remember a total suck class. I've, so far, chosen wisely enough to avoid them.
Other than Business Calc that I failed twice. Of course, my "Cultural Diversity" was Southern Culture and not AfroLesbian studies. My "Non-Western History" is Comparative Economic Systems taught by a super-pro US-some people just need to be killed-worked for the Defense Dept for 40 years kinda guy. Super intellectual but not a pussy leftist. Dark sense of humor, and an expert in Russian relations. Tells it like it is, and that in some other countries that just as well shoot you as listen to you bitch. A real wake up call to some of his students. A man I highly admire. |
"Sex and Death"
I shit you not. It was an interdisciplinary Philosophy elective course. We read DeSade and all that good stuff. Actually I enjoyed the class immensely. |
I was lucky, we didn't have that crap at my college. Lamest courses were Film and Art History, but both were fun and I learned a lot more about history than I thought I would in Art History.

Psychology of Women, for the easy elective credit. While the class was beyond easy and if you bothered to show up, you got an A it was one of the most excruciating experiences of my education. We'd circle the desks to facilitate getting in touch with our feelings, constantly worked in groups (I hate that the most because it forces you to interact with UAA students. Not fun) and having to watch ridiculous movies about the persecution of women, feminine spiruality, and imaging the goddess.
I skipped the day on the syllabus that covered menses. Yech. Another horrible class I had was the Ethics of War and Terrorism. Sounds like an interesting class, right? Nope. Full of moonbats and aged old commie biddies who have nothing better to do than take college courses and irritate the living hell out of real students. |
Latin. What's a Moonbat? Is that a Latin word? |

Worst ever.....?
Never took a bad class. I've had some bad instructors. My share, and then some. Of course, every one of them had a bad student to deal with. Note to professors out there: make your classes interesting. Use pictures, graphs, examples, humor, and best of all, passion. There is NOTHING in college worse than sitting through a monotone lecture. |
Worst, music appreaciation. After years of listening to and even playing classical music I thought it would be a breaze.
Shit it was a nightmare version of name this tune in the least amount of notes. Tj |
My worst class - French |

A vocal member of the lunatic Leftist fringe. DU, San Francisco, and university faculties are their common range. |

History of Florida. Actually the class was interesting. What made it bad was the liberal POS professor who spent 10 minutes of every class spouting his anti-gun bullshit.
The WORST classes I ever took were Spanish 101, 102 and 210. The Universidad da Miami made the class so difficult that the native spanish speakers could not blow it off. That made it nearly impossible for me. I should have taken Japaneese. Socialogy 101 was pretty lame also. |
you need to change your major. go into engineering, not nearly as many hippies there. I'm taking mechanics of materials, Thermodynamics II, GPS/GIS positioning for engineers, and foundry sciences. If that won't please a gun nut nothing will.

Had a required Psych class that was taught by a Man-hating liberal ex-hippy freak bitch, and Ph.D (shows what that's worth these days).
Some of the crap she spewed out of her mouth had me seriously wonder how she functioned in the real world (not educational) and what she did for sexual enjoyment, if anything. I only had H.S. psychology and Advanced psychology prior to the class and even I could see that she needed therapy. It was sad. I ended up dropping her class after hearing her heckle all answers from male students (never female) and experiencing one myself so bad (turned into my 'reason' vs. hers). Needless to say, she kicked me out of class and I went directly to the Dean to file a complaint never to return. I heard later that she had several other complaints and was fired. I ended up CLEPping out of the class (one test over general principles, 2 hours, 1.0 credit hr.). scary |
Yeah, and you will get a chink or rag head professor that can't speak a word of fucking English. I have put up with the bullshit for 3 years and I am tired of it. |
Oh yeah, my Fine Arts Appreciation was "The History of Country Music" and that class kicked ass too
I had to take a Political Science class that focused entirely on the history of the world economy. Bleh, that was about as dull as dirt. I am majoring in English and Sociology, so that was only a Gen. Ed. class that I had to take. For my majors I have to take classes that often focus on only one writer. Three months of Chaucer for example. In Sociology I took a class last semester on the issues related to sex and gender. I will also be taking a walking class to fill my Phy. Ed. credits.

It's okay to learn these cultural courses in high school, but in college??? Come on! When I was an undergrad, I was looking at all the required courses I need to take in order to get a B.A. in poli sci. I have to, at least, take two cultural studies classes (under different graduation requirements). Sometimes, I get this suspicious feelng that crap classes like chicano studies, africana studies is way for the university to prolong the students from graduating and squeezing more dough out of them. What a con!!! |

Three quarters of Italian - a complete waste of my time and resources (not to mention the University's), but it was required to complete my degree. At least the .gov paid for it...
