I'm replacing the dvdrw in an imac g4 800mhz with the 15 inch screen. The dvdrw it came with is a pioneer 104 or 105 I believe. The drive no longer works. Will there be any compatibility issues if I replaced it with a pioneer dvr 109? Thanks.

is it a regular IDE drive?? or is it like a laptop cdrom drive? if its an ide drive you shouldn't have any problems... usually laptop like drives are more picky cause, the connector, and fitting has to be perfect

cool thanks. cruze....its a normal drive. i think ill have to remove the front bezel though.
