There, I did it. I own the handgun of choice. 6 mags already with a comp-tac minotaur on the way. Already bought a safariland als paddle for range and idpa. Need to order a set of tfos, and some of the new glock pmags.

The glock will replace my mp40c for daily carry. How'd I do, and what else do I need?

Reasons for the switch. More capacity in a similar sized platform. One extra nag instead of two for edc. Didn't have any glocks yet.

Welcome to the club OP.

I have a G19 I'd like to dump for a M&Pc. I have too much invested in the G19. 3 nice holsters and at least 15 magazines laying around.

I'll get around to buying a M&Pc one of these days. Already have a Core and Shield.

You say "G19" enough........

Glocks will happen.

I was looking at a used G19 at Gander Mountain Sunday and it was priced at $699.00 then I went and looked at a new G19 and it was the same price. Asked the salesman about it and pretty much said Ganders pricing is fucked.

That's about all I know about Glocks. All I can say is, a new gun is always nice to get OP.

Paid $509 I believe. Did look at mags at gander the other day. About $40 for glock mags. They are insane.

I keep waiting for this to come back in stock. Is there a better package online anywhere? Been watching for weeks. Have not tried LGS yet.

Good job op. The G19 is an awesome firearm and I recommend every one own one. Not necessarily as an EDC piece, but for secondary duty, as well as the range.

A G19 and a .22 conversion kit is all the handgun one will ever need.

Why did you go to GM to buy a gun? That's silly, and not normal Glock pricing.

No joke. Got a 34 for $615 OTD this weekend. I forgot how much Glocks really are.

I joined the G19 club last year OP. Same holster as you!

Welcome to the club. The G19 is equilibrium between capacity and size.

It's not the best at anything but nowhere near the worst.

Didn't even shoot it yet, but already thinking about stippling, extended mag release, ext slide release, and trigger. Guess it will depend on how much it gets shot at IDPA.

No mods until you shoot that thing thousands of times.......seriously.

12 - 15k through it, think about a new barrel and then shoot some more.

Anyone that picks the brick-like feel of a glock over an M&P doesn't deserve an m&p.

Not ditching my m&ps. I have four. Mp9, mp40c, mp22, mp9 shield. Been carrying the 40c for a couple of years now. The glock move is a size/capacity driven move.

He is right. Only put night sights on it. Leave the rest alone.

The brass is going to hit you in the face, it's going to blow up and kill everyone you've ever loved, and you won't be able to get back into a firefight after being set on fire because the frame will have melted. You only bought it because of groupthink.
