Getting ready for a flight (domestic), does anyone know if I can bring chewing gum on board since the new security policy went into effect?  I don't know if it matters, but it's nicotine gum (quit smoking a couple of weeks ago)

I couldn't find anything about it on the TSA's website.

Thanks in advance

I flew Monday, gum, visine, prescription meds, no problems.  Bottle of water or cup of soda,,no way.  Get a drink before you get on the plane, they ration water like a life boat.

They are still idiots, but ran fairly quickly.  At Dulles they were searching an 80y/o italian guy for bombs and letting the mad bomber of islam walk by, just to be fair. Go figure?
