Anyone use one of these? thinking about getting it for my Glock 27 .40 cal subcompact

Waste of money, IMO.

That Glock Fo-ty ain't got no recoil to start with, so what is there to reduce?

The laser is just kinda dumb.  Fun, but dumb, IMNSHO...  

If this is a serious self-defense firearm, spend the money on ammo and training.  If it's just for fun, then gopher it!!

i just got it and havent shot it yet, but ive heard many people say the exact opposite, that the recoil can be pretty bad on the subcompact lil G27

For range-only use, try the recoil reducer.  Then swap it out when it goes back into the holster.  That may have the undesirable side effect of reducing slide velocity too much, causing failures to eject all over the place.
