Too big to be a bore light....I would guess a flexing neck lends itself towards map reading in the confines of a vehicle/aircraft.

That light looks like it needs Viagra!
Actually, it's an inspection flashlight. IIRC, thats what the GSA and Labtech Supply catalogs call them. At the squadron, we have them in our Quality Assurance and Powerplants toolboxes to look into the darker recesses of our beloved KC-130s and their Allison T56A-16 engines. Semper Fi Dave |
