Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - pinned colapsable stock

I don't know if this has been asked before and I did a search and didn't come up with anything so here goes. Is it legal to buy a colapsable stock and pin it at the length you want it at and instal it on a post ban lower?

Well that letter says alot more to me than I knew before. All the pictures I have seen of postban rifles with the tactical stocks are in the extended position. I was under the assumption that it was supposed to be in that manner and not in a retracted state. Dont ask me why I thought that, but its been one of the little details that has kept me from buying one.
