The poor $5 kittens are never going to get adopted, they arent any cuter than the free ones! They will just end up as big old cats in the vending machine, then even if someone does buy them they wont even fit through the slot.

In Japan they have those crane-type vending machines at arcades with turtles in them. Yes, turtles. They don't bother to take the dead ones out either. Too much radiation over there, perhaps?

[v] MAHABALI, Notice the locations of the free kittens vs. the $5 kittens. It was stategically planned that way. A $5 kitten purchase gets the added bonus of watching the kitten plunk down into the tray from the top rack. My newer model includes a dunk tank with detergent in it. So, for a little extra $$$, you get a fresh, clean kitten. |
