I'm pretty sure that I'm coming down with BRD so now I'm looking at another AR, after I just picked up my second on Tuesday. Currently I'm looking at either a DPMS Classic lite, a RRA National Match A2 or A4 or a Bushmaster M4A1. My stripped lower is now waiting on a 20in A4 parts kit.

so, what says ARFcom?

Bushmaster all the way.
Link Posted: 6/18/2009 6:11:45 AM EST
Noveske Basic or reece basic.

None of these would be my choice .Although the RRA and Bushmaster are OK .

I would choose Colt ,S&W ,LMT ,Charles Daly or a DD .

assuming you wanted a factory build .

Someone will be along shortly to add to my list

LMT or Bravo Co.

If you have 2 already, I'd spend the money on optics/ammo/training. Just my opinion. Maybe you have a closet full of ammo and Aimpoints and ACOGs coming out of your butt.

Hard to beat this advice.

I wish I had bought a CMP suitable rifle when they were readily available. You would be very pleased with the NM if you bought a sling and gave the 3 position shooting a go. Its fun outshooting your friends. And as "only accurate rifles are interesting" the NM is very interesting (and handsome).

ETA: Kuraki has a great point.

S&W 16'' Mid-length!

Bushy or RRA will work well.
I have owned both and had zeeero problems.

I put Bushmaster.... But I never buy a factory rifle. You get a better end result, for a better value, if you build it yourself with Tier 1 parts.

buy tons of spare parts too.

Now might be a good time to re-group and consolidate your gains :)

RRA NM A4.

LMT/BCM/Colt/6.8

Lots of choices, so little money.

Dude, get a piston operated AR. Ruger has a new one for almost the price of a direct impengment AR. POF is my favorite by far, but pricey....

I just picked up a reece basic... Holy shit, what a rifle. I'm selling my Bushy to a buddy, I've got no need for it now. If you can find a Noveske, get it!

ETA: If you think you've got BRD now... wait until you start selling black rifles to get other black rifles. it's a sickness I tell ya!

You didn't say what you already have, but I would go with something in a very different configuration.
