Its from a M249 SAW.
Lots of people have never seen a SAW before.. running out of projects for AR's Need to drop a ACOG on-top of this one. |

I saw one of them at a local gunshop.
The guy had cut the threads off the barrel and had mounted it to a PWA postban lower. He was asking $700 for the whole thing. If he haden't cut the threads off I would of bought it. |

Yeah, I carried on, a real piece of sh*t. The whole time I was in the Corps I never saw a M249 go through a 200 drum with out a malfunction. Only talked to one USMC grunt that every liked them, he was in the Corps in the mid-80s and his Battalion had gotten brand new M249, he said they functioned fine, probably because they hadn't been broken in yet. Everyone else that I have ever heard that has liked them has either never actually fired one or been a Pogue (ie supply, cook, clerk, ect) I would much rather carry the M60E3, M16A2, or M203. Just my .02 BTW how do you like the 249 hand guard on the AR upper, does it fit properly, how does it shoot off hand. |
