what I am looking for is a place to buy some gear that is inexpensive (relativley) but more important is good quality and having it in stock...
twice I have tried to buy some NVG's and have been sold a bag of majic beans

IE your order wil ship when it's in stock...which is no time soon

I need this for a automotive project were working on here at the shop, and thought it might be nice to play with

where to buy?

Save your money and buy a PVS-14 or PVS-7.

Anything less than military-grade Gen. III is a waste of money IMO.

doesn't sound like he is looking for serious use.

Serious use or not, he needs to be able to see what he's doing.

The only way to effectively use Gen. II is to have a good bright flashlight with an infrared lens.  Even then it's not too impressive.

were building a car for scion (the car company) for a big trade show, it needs to be able to output to a camera or screen,
also when the car has used itself up the gear stays with me, turbo's, wheels , brakes, night vision...etc

so being a good AR15 type member, I am thinking further than my nose, and I dont use any BS equipment on anything we build, it is allways the best stuff I can get my hands on ...

and I will be holding on to it when it is all said and done

so back to the ques. ..where to buy?

Like someone else said, email spectr or Victor.  If they do not have anything available, they might be able to hook you up with someone who does.
