Looking at a 2 toshibas -

sattelite m65 17" 1440x900 screen, intel media accelerator 900 graphics chip / up to 128 mb shared video memory

and a toshiba qosmio f25  15.4" screen 1200x800, Nvidia go 6600 with 64mb

other specs are about the same:

which works better for gaming

- m65 bigger screen / higher res/ more video memory at upper end, but intel card

f25 smaller screen, less resolution and only 64 mb video, but dedecated memory and nvidia card...

thanks!!

The one with nVidia by far. 128 megs of video memory would be better though.

Avoid the Intel vid for more modern games.

chances are that you wouldn't be able to run you games at that high of resulution and still have a decent framerate.

what about the ATI RADEON Express 200M - what capabilities does it have with say, FPS games?

I am sure it will play most of the newer games, but you may have to compromise image quality and resolution.....a lot.  It will play them, but it surely wont look spectacular, at least with newer games.
