Did it break any bones?

I got shot in the leg and didn't walk for over a year, so be glad you can walk after 4 months.

I don't have a limp today.

GSW's take a long time to heal.  It ain't like the movies.

Yup--and sorry to hear it.  Occasionally we get guys who are pissed or put out because we are safety nazi's at AR15.com shoots.  We do not want to have someone end up injured--or worse--at one of our shoots.

I'm glad you're mostly okay.  Obviously it could have been MUCH worse.

I'd exercise as the leg allowed--build (or rebuild) muscle.  I'm not knowledgeable about such things, so it may not be good advice.  Best wishes.

the funny thing is before we started shooting i went over everything with him and i even corrected him for pointing the gun at me than that  happends needless to say he doesnt shoot with or talk to me anymore

I busted up my left leg pretty badly when I was in my 20s , ended up with plates and screws in the repair . The leg was weak for 18 months even with Physical therapy . Then about ten years after that I popped the ACL in that knee and tore the cartilage . The Dr that did that surgery said it was a result of the therapy/Exercise from the previous injury , and that I'm probably looking at total knee replacement in the next 10 years

So I guess my advice is .......... Don't push it too hard trying to get it back 100%
