The crew of the USS Theodore Roosevelt lines up to spell 'Big Stick' in reference to his saying of 'Walk softly and carry a big stick.'  The picture was taken while the Roosevelt was transiting the Atlantic Ocean recently, after September 11.

Sweet.

E-mail a j-peg of this to Usama.

Should cure his constipation problem. All over the inside of his shorts.

Great photo.  I wonder when it was taken?

Dem's are F/A 18s with Blue Angel paintjobs on the port quarterdeck.

Hmm, methinks this is a nice Photoshop fake.  Save the picture and blow it up a bit and you will see why.

Reason #1 - Blue Angel F/A-18s on flight deck
Reason #2 - Those are not troops forming the words.

I'll let you find the other reasons.....

The pic looks real to me.  The 'writing' are actually crew, as you know, the Navy boys wear white.  The F18's on the rear quarterdeck are NOT painted in the Blue Angels color scheme.  As we should know, the Blue Angels paint scheme is a DARK blue with gold/yellow accents.  Besides, they're never carrier-borne.

I've seen a couple pics where the sailors spell out something like that.  Having been in the marching band in High School, it's believable.
