It was all in good fun. Back home, Mom has a Siamese-Persian that is 19 1/2 years old! Great cat, even though age is catchig up to him. |

heres a question..why do cats like to sit in boxes so much..do they feel safer? are the boxes comfortable? you can buy a $60 "cat house" thing , and the box that it comes packaged in is what the cat will sit in, and wont even look twice at what you had BOUGHT...I know my sisters cat loves sitting in this old cardboard bottem for a tray of soda cans...wierd isnt it

 Misery, your cat looks EVIL. Those red/orange eyes are spooky!!! Too bad your cat doesnt have black fur, with those eyes. Still looks awesome though. I like cats too. Sad part is that my apt. doesnt allow ANY pets

Mine does the same thing. From what I understand its instinct due to the nesting behavior. They like to rest in dark closed spaces. Kind of like a nest in the wild. I bought mine some disposable litter boxes and stapled two of them together to make a box. Put some old sweatshirts that I had worn in there, and they love it. If I can't find them, then you can bet they are there. |

Also a lot more expensive since the first 3 generations of of Savannah males are sterile. However, communities that enforce BSL (breed specific legislation) cannot ban the ownership of Savannahs - and that, combined with a less wild temperment make them all the more desirable for someone that is unable to provide the time and space needed to maintain an exotic pet. |
