There are movies I've seen countless times and maybe even own on DVD. But when I'm flipping through the channels, sometimes I'll see a movie and want to watch it until the end.

For me, it's the better clint eastwood westerns (for a few dollars more, a fistfull of dollars, and even pale rider and high plains drifter sometimes). And some older war movies, like The Longest Day.

Then there's other movies like The Ten Commandments which is on every easter. If I sit down and watch it for five minutes I'm pretty much there until it's over.

Same for josey wales and shawshank, even though I think tim burton is first rate asshat.

Josey wales I'd rather watch the DVD though...it's just too good to get cut up with commercials.
