Going to the register with my java, there was a display of the Sports illustrated swimsuit edition, and a little old lady behind me. I held up a copy, looked at her and asked her:
"Is this really you?" Her face lit up. she smiled. "That picture was taken quite a while ago," she answered with a HUGE smile.

I'm a Customs Officer and I try to do the same thing to get a smile out of the older crowd. I'll usually be looking at a passport or license photo and say, "Hey, this isn't you... you're much younger looking than the person in this photo." They love it. |
