Secretary of the Army John McHugh penned this internal memorandum on Monday, sent to us by one of our contributors at the Pentagon, indicating that officers who have been to Iraq and Afghanistan must be purged from the ranks since they have been indoctrinated by a useless “combat” mindset.

It could be truth. We actually live in a time when Gay-Lesbian-Bisexual-Transsexual inclusion is more important in the military than combat effectiveness. It is repugnant. |

The military is too large anyway. Cut it by 75% It will be plenty big enough to defend the USA.
Also although this is satire. I've no doubt that in peacetime the Army does its best to muster out combat vets. Because they know what really important and what is mickey mouse what is the term? "chicken shit." Its hard to get a guy who has been shot at to really want to learn to muster out and march inline real well. or go for a ruck run because there s not much else to do bedsides that today. Or to go live in a tent for a month ..... Because he knows...It B.S. I recently saw another article about enlisted combat vets are "bored" with garrison life. So even though they'd NEVER put something like this in writing. They will work towards that goal just the same. |
