It is a great tool...
Now only if your range estimation is good though. Or if your using an electronic ranging device... and estimation, Your GTG. |

When I shoot unknown distance with mildot, I keep a calculator in my drag bag. This formula is just as quick as using the Mil-Dot Master or looking up a chart.
Target Height in inches X 27.778 ------------------------------------- = range in Yards Target height in mil-dots Expect a 10% error, more so at longer ranges. ETA: Everything you need to know about Mil-Dots |
